Cars in German Town Discovered Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Police mentioned they were notified by a individual who noticed a car in Hanau marked with red-colored liquid

Roughly 50 vehicles have been smeared with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Cars, walls and postal boxes were marked, occasionally with swastikas, they stated in a official communication.

Police state they were contacted during the night on Wednesday night, when a individual noticed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued liquid.

The liquid had been drawn in the shape of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then located many other marked vehicles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations outlawing the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement say initial examinations show the fluid was most likely human blood.

"There is still no clue as to where it came from; authorities are currently not informed of any physical harm in connection with the event," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were trying "to unravel the case" and have asked to the residents for tips.

An important representative stated the vandalism made him speechless and had to be resolved promptly.

"This event affects the core of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the extremist terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on a platform, referring to the murder of nine individuals by a gunman focusing on residents of foreign heritage in February 2020.
