Tehran is prepared to reinitiate atomic talks with Washington as long as it is approached with "respect" and "respect", Iran's top diplomat has announced.

The Iranian diplomat said solely negotiations produced results, and revealed fresh requests had originated from intermediaries to resume talks with the Trump administration. Following this, EU nations exercised their right to reimpose international penalties, but Iran maintains they have not had a significant effect.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Iran's diplomats claimed they felt they had reached a "perfect agreement" to the nuclear fuel concern in earlier negotiations, when it was settled an local partnership with American involvement could refine atomic fuel. Both sides would have been able to declare success since home-based processing would have continued and the US could be assured that Iran's nuclear programme was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been agreed in the negotiations that Washington's technical specialists could work within Iranian territory, but that was a logical implication of the consortium proposal. "If they address to the Iranian people with the language of dignity and honor, they will obtain a response in the identical tone."

Repair and Reconstruction

In what is described by Iran's diplomats as the struggle of recovery and rebuilding, the foreign minister claimed he was certain Iran's security strengths "are much stronger than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been reestablished. We acquired numerous insights from this engagement; we have discovered our internal vulnerabilities and the weaknesses of the opponent."

He continued: "We managed to survive this engagement. Our atomic expertise, which they planned to eliminate, remains in place. The installations and machinery, if eliminated, will be restored; what is crucial is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the national cohesion that they aimed at, but were unable to break. The citizens of Tehran have become stronger, more united, and more endorsing of the administration and the state in the aftermath of this assault."
